I am cursing the purchase of four IBM 4029's from the IBM Surplus Store. I am having great difficulty getting them to function the way I want. It seems that my Mandrake box prints to the Brother MFC-3800 with less effort. Each print job is sent, processed and flushed without printing a word. Using PCL4 Emulation results in funky PostScript 3 messages from the printer. . . . I JUST DON'T KNOW

I am very grateful to R. for the opportunity to browse the Surplus Store, but it just never works out for him it seems. I don't know if he knows that I consider it his decision and that he can back out at any time. It is my sincere hope to relieve rather than increase the pressure on those around me.
