Chris was a true formative influence in my Childhood. I am sad to know that he is gone. I wouldn't know where to begin to describe how important he and the little collection of misfits that aggregated around him were for me. If it weren't for him, I probably would have turned out to be a nunchuck bearin' weiner-boy from the South. I had not spoken to Chris in almost 4 years. I really didn't know who he was. Last I knew, he was working at Oak Ridge National Labs as a water quality specialist. I had heard that he was married, but I never caught her name or anything about her until I read the obituary. I am truly sad that this happened to him, no matter what the circumstances, it was a true tragedy. Next time, I will put up a story of Chris and his crazy high school antics.
